Ernegg is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Steinakirchen am Forst in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 90 building areas with 32,814 m² and 95 gardens on 217,110 m² in the cadastral community of Ernegg , in 1989/1990 there were 88 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 170 and in 2009/2010 there were 109 buildings on 194 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. At the turn of the year 1979/1980, 249 hectares were used for agriculture and 116 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 237 hectares and 126 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 229 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 127 hectares. Ernegg's average soil climate number is 43.6 (as of 2010).
