Ernst Geibel

Ernst Geibel (* in the 19th century ; † in the 20th century ) was a German antiquarian and publisher .

Life

Ernst Geibel had opened a second-hand bookshop in Göttingen in 1897 , which was still located in Weender Strasse 68 in the 1930s .

Early 20th century operational Geibel also in Hannover a publishing house, of which he, for example, at the height of the homeland movement in 1907 and first published by the editor Georg Friedrich Konrich founded magazine Hannover country. Published monthly for the history, regional and folklore, language, art and literature of our home in Lower Saxony . In 1914, Geibel's bookstore was located in Hanover at Hallerstraße 44 .

In 1948 the Göttingen antiquarian bookshop was located at Weender Strasse 80 , where the owner Dorothea Querfurt was co-owner of the Dieterich'sche Universitätsbuchhandlung Eidner & Querfurt, also based in Göttingen . Most recently, the company had serious Geibel based in Castle Road 11 in Göttingen, was still in 2017 the District Court of Goettingen in the commercial register under number HRA 1503 registered as inactive.
