Ernst von Werdeck

Ernst von Werdeck (born December 27, 1849 in Schorbus , Niederlausitz , † August 19, 1905 there ) was the owner of the manor and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

In 1860 Werdeck became a sixth student at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Gymnasium Cottbus . After graduating from high school, he studied economics and law at the University of Greifswald , the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin , the University of Leipzig and the Georg August University in Göttingen . He was a member of the Corps Borussia Greifswald (1871), Normannia Berlin (1872), Saxonia Leipzig (1873) and Brunsviga Göttingen (1875). As a lieutenant and first lieutenant in the Prussian Army , he fought in the Franco-German War . In 1893 he took over the Schorbus manor.

In the Year of Three Emperors elected, he sat up in 1904 in the Prussian House of Representatives .

As a member of the German Conservative Party , he was a member of the Reichstag (German Empire) from 1893 to 1898 for the constituency of Frankfurt 9 Cottbus , Spremberg district . He worked in the parliamentary committees of chambers of crafts , the code of criminal procedure , total distillery contingent , inland shipping , the commercial code , petitions and trade regulations .
