Ersan Tekkan (born January 6, 1985 in Bochum ) is a former German-Turkish soccer player and soccer official.

Career

society

Tekkan began his footballer career with the youth of BV Langendreer 07 and moved to VfL Bochum in 1994 . With the U-19 of VfL Bochum, Tekkan won the Bundesliga West Championship in 2003 and 2004 under coach Sascha Lewandowski and was twice in the German championship finals. After the 2004 season, Tekkan received a professional contract with VfL Bochum. At VfL he was in the professional squad, but was mostly only used in the regional league team.

In January 2007 Tekkan moved to the Turkish Süper Lig to Antalyaspor . In the first six months Tekkan experienced relegation to the Bank Asya 1st League and spent a few months on loan at Izmirspor in autumn 2007 . At the end of the 2007/08 season, Antalyaspor rose to the Turkcell Süperlig again with Tekkan as champions of the Bank Asya 1st League. In 2009 he left Antalyaspor after he had only played in one league game. After six months of looking for a club, he joined KFC Uerdingen 05 at the end of 2009 , with whom he was promoted to the NRW league in 2011 as the champion of the Lower Rhine League . After the departure of Erhan Albayrak in the summer of 2011, Tekkan took over the captaincy at KFC. In 2013 he was promoted to the Regionalliga West with the Krefeld team. Due to the additional workload as the owner of a real estate company, Ersan Tekkan ended his playing career at the age of 28. Instead, he took over the post of sporting director at KFC Uerdingen in the 2013/14 season . On April 14th he temporarily took over the training management at KFC Uerdingen 05 and looked after the team on the following matchday 33 in the match against the 2nd team from Bayer Leverkusen .

On May 30, 2014, Tekkan resigned as sporting director of the KFC Uerdingen and has since devoted his time to his real estate company.

National team

In 2002 Tekkan was faced with the decision to play for the Turkish or German national team. He opted for the DFB , which made him naturalized a short time later. His youth national team career began at the U17 European Championship in Denmark in 2002 . He went through all youth teams of the DFB from the U-17 to the U-20 and scored five goals in a total of 21 international matches.
