Ersen Martin (born May 23, 1979 in Marktredwitz ) is a former German - Turkish soccer player . Because he worked for Denizlispor for three years, he is often associated with this club. With over 100 appearances and important goals for Denizlispor, he is on the list with the most appearances in the club's history. On fan and club pages he is seen as one of the most important players in the club's history.

Career

society

He was joined by Musa Büyük from Ankaraspor for a player swap against Adem Koçak , Mehmet Yilmaz and Ardijan Đokaj at the beginning of the 2006/07 season to Trabzonspor . He had previously played for clubs such as Denizlispor , Trabzonspor, Beşiktaş Istanbul and 1. FC Nürnberg . His hometown club is the district upper division Baiersdorfer SV .

In the meantime, Ersen Martin had moved to the Spanish Primera División to Recreativo Huelva for a transfer fee of 1.1 million euros , but could not prevail there due to a long-lasting injury.

He then played in the Süper Lig for Sivasspor , Vestel Manisaspor and Kasımpaşa Istanbul . While he could not prevail at Sivasspor and Vestel Manisaspor, he found back to the old form at Kasımpaşa Istanbul. With his goals, he ensured that his team was in the relegation battle for a long time. After relegation could not be prevented, he went with his team in the second-rate TFF 1st Lig . Here he was no longer preferred in the regular formation by the new coach Uğur Tütüneker .

During the winter break of the 2011/12 season, he dissolved his current contract with Kasımpaşa and moved to Gençlerbirliği Ankara . The decisive factor for the transfer was the coach Fuat Çapa , who was Martin's coach at Kasımpaşa in the preseason.

At Gençlerbirliği, Martin only came to three missions, so his contract, which expired at the end of the season, was not extended. For the new season he moved to the third division Eyüpspor . The main reason for the change was that former team-mate Martins, Murat Şahin , now worked as a coach at Eyüpspor.

National team

He has dual citizenship (Turkish and German), completed three missions for the Turkish national team and played a total of eight times for the U-19 and U-21 youth teams in Turkey.
