Ervin Zukanović (born February 11, 1987 in Sarajevo ) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian football player .
Career
society
Zukanovic made the jump from youth to the first team of FK Željezničar Sarajevo in 2005 . In 2006 he moved to Lustenau in Austria. Here he was only used by the second team and left the club after a year. After three positions in two years, including in Germany at KFC Uerdingen, he moved to FCV Dender in Belgium in January 2009. He made his debut in the Jupiler Pro League in a 2-0 win on Matchday 20 at Excelsior Mouscron . At the end of the season he was relegated to the EXQI League with Dender . After relegation to League 2, Zukanovic moved to the first division in summer 2010 for the newly promoted KAS Eupen. In the summer of 2011, after relegation from Eupen, he moved to the first division club in Kortrijk. He played in Kortrijk until 2013, where he reached the final at Beker van Belgie . The final was lost 0-1 against Sporting Lokeren . Zukanovic has been playing at KAA Gent since January 2013.
On January 29, 2016, Zukanović initially moved to AS Roma for 1.2 million euros until the end of the 2015/16 season on loan . After just one month, Zukanović was firmly committed after four missions (without scoring) and given a contract until June 30, 2019.
The season 2016/17 dubbed Zukanović on loan at Atalanta . After his return in the summer of 2017, he was awarded to the CFC Genoa and signed by them a year later. Since August 1, 2019, he has been under contract with first division club al-Ahli Jeddah in Saudi Arabia .
National team
He made his debut for the national team on October 16, 2012 in qualifying for the 2014 World Cup . In the 3-0 win over Lithuania , he came on in the 74th minute for Senad Lulić .
