Erwin Prib

Erwin Wladimirowitsch Prib (born July 20, 1977 in Karaganda , Kazakh SSR ) is a German production designer .

In 1986 Prib came to the GDR and has lived in Berlin since 1987. He studied architecture at the Berlin University of the Arts (now the University of the Arts ) and then scenography at the Potsdam University of Film and Television . For his work on Veit Helmer's Absurdistan , he won the LOLA 2008 ( German Film Prize 2008 ) in the “Best Production Design” category. Ten years later, he won the LOLA again in 2018 with a double nomination ( Manifesto and Jugend ohne Gott ).
