Eugène Philippe LaRocque
Eugène Philippe LaRocque (born March 27, 1927 in Windsor ; † December 16, 2018 ) was Roman Catholic Bishop of Alexandria-Cornwall .
Life
Eugène Philippe LaRocque was ordained a priest on June 7, 1952 .
Pope Paul VI appointed him on June 24, 1974 Bishop of Alexandria, Ontario .
The Bishop of London , Gerald Emmett Carter , ordained him episcopally on September 3 of that year ; Co- consecrators were Louis Joseph Jean Marie Fortier , Archbishop of Sherbrooke , and Philip Francis Pocock , Archbishop of Toronto . He was introduced to the office on September 15 of the same year.
On April 27, 2002, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
