The European elections in Denmark in 1984 took place on June 17 and 20, 1984 as part of the EC- wide European elections in 1984 . In Denmark , 16 of the 434 seats were awarded; one seat was reserved for Greenland . After Greenland's exit from the EC on December 31, 1984, which had already been determined at the time of the election, the 16th seat within Denmark was newly assigned. The election in Greenland took place on June 20th (Sunday), in the rest of Denmark, as traditionally, votes were held on Thursday.

3,878,600 voters (including Greenland) were eligible to vote. 2,025,696 voters took part, which corresponds to a turnout of 52.2%.

The 16th seat vacant after Greenland's exit fell to the Socialistisk Folkeparti.

The mandate in Greenland defended the social democratic Siumut. After a referendum on February 23, 1982, Greenland's exit from the EC was already certain. With the resignation on December 31, 1984, the seat expired.
