Eva-Maria Admiral (born May 21, 1965 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

After studying literature and theater studies at the Sorbonne University in Paris, she completed her acting training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. She celebrated her first successes in the two-person play Burning Love at the Vienna Volkstheater . Following her training, Eva-Maria Admiral played for ten years at the Burgtheater Vienna . There she works u. a. with Manfred Karge , Jürgen Flimm and Claus Peymann . This was followed by engagements at the Wiener Festwochen and, under the direction of Jürgen Flimm, at the Salzburg Festival .

Leading roles followed a. in A Midsummer Night's Dream , The Prodigal and A Florentine Hat . Repeatedly there was collaboration with director Claus Peymann and as partner of Nicholas Ofczarek . She also worked in German television productions .

Since 1997 she has worked as a freelance actress in Austria, Germany and Switzerland with successful solo programs such as the bestseller by Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt Oskar and the Lady in Pink , the piece about happiness and Christmas up close .

In 2015 she published her autobiography Mein Überlebenslauf , in which she not only comes to terms with her childhood, but also tells how she found the Christian faith despite the difficult conditions in a Catholic boarding school .

Eva-Maria Admiral is a certified voice and rhetoric trainer. She leads seminars in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and was a guest lecturer at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Heilbronn for business administration, at the Management Center Innsbruck and for the Bund Freikirchlicher Pfingstgemeinden .

Eva-Maria Admiral is married to the Swiss actor Eric Wehrlin.
