history

After immigrants from the Palatinate and Baden had settled in Feldkirchen in 1833 , at the instigation of the Evangelical Queen Karoline , one of the first Protestant parishes in the Munich area was established. This later became the mother parish of other Protestant parishes in the area.

In 1836 planning began to build a two-story church. The ground floor was intended for the vicar's apartment and a classroom , the upper floor for a prayer room. The foundation stone was laid on June 12, 1837; on November 12 of the same year the consecration took place.

In 1856 the church's equipment, which still exists today, was purchased. Structural changes were made from 1868 to 1871, including the construction of the roof turret . In 1892 the colored glass windows were used. The exterior of the church was restored in 1973 and the interior in 1977.

Diagonally across from the church, a Protestant school was built in 1885 , followed in 1911 by the Protestant rectory to the north of the church.
