Evangelical Church (Dürrn)
The Evangelical Church in Dürrn , a district of the community of Ölbronn-Dürrn in the Enzkreis ( Baden-Württemberg ), was built in 1738. The church is a protected architectural monument .
history
For a long time, Dürrn was part of the parish in Kieselbronn as a subsidiary parish . It is not known when the first chapel was built in Dürrn. A chaplain was first mentioned in 1490 when the village was given the right to celebrate mass. In the 17th century Dürrn became its own parish.
architecture
The core of the church tower is from the Middle Ages . At that time there was probably a fortified church with a wall ring. The nave of today's church was built in 1738 and the church was rebuilt several times in the following years. The last renovation took place in 1981/82.
organ
The organ was delivered in 2000 by the organ building company Johannes Rohlf in Neubulach . The instrument has 16 registers , divided into two manuals and pedal , including 3 transmissions in the pedal. The playing and stop actions are mechanical.
