The Protestant parish church is a listed church building in Altenhasungen , a district of Wolfhagen in the Kassel district ( Hesse ).

History and architecture

The church was first mentioned in a document in 1074. The high west tower , a defense tower , has been preserved from the Romanesque period. It is crowned with a late Gothic pointed helmet with four wich houses . The Romanesque in the core ship was probably renewed in 1740 by Giovanni Ghezzy and an outside triangular and round inside circuit provided. The stone pulpit was made in 1702, the organ was installed in the 19th century.
