Evelyn Lauvstad Hanevold (* as Evelyn Lauvstad on July 21, 1974 ) is a former Norwegian biathlete .

Evelyn Lauvstad Hanevold was part of Norway's extended national squad in the early 2000s. She has been successfully active nationally since the mid-1990s. Although she never won a title as Norwegian champion , she won two runner-up championships and four bronze medals in relay and team races with representatives from the Sogn og Fjordane region . Internationally, she was able to achieve successes in the European Cup for the first time in the 1999/2000 season , when she achieved a first podium finish at the season finale alongside Arna Kolltveit , Liv-Kjersti Eikeland and Borghild Ouren behind the representation from Germany and in front of the Canadians as second place in the relay race . At the European Championships in 2000 , Lauvstad in Kościelisko was 32nd of the individual, 34th of the sprint and did not finish their pursuit. In the relay race she was seventh with Kolltveit, Tora Berger and Linda Tjørhom . A year later Hanevold was 26th in the individual and 18th in the sprint race. The season ended with the 2001 Military World Ski Championships in Jericho , where the Norwegian was 24th in the sprint. The Norwegian was particularly successful in the 2001/02 season in the European Cup. In Jablonec she missed a first victory as second place in a sprint race behind Peggy Wagenführ , followed by a second place with Ouren, Hege Nilssen and Berger behind the German women in the relay race. At the next station she won a relay race in Jáchymov with Ouren, Ann Helen Grande and Berger. The third participation in the European championships followed . In Kontiolahti , Hanevold was 32nd in the sprint, 28th in the pursuit and fifth in the relay with Grande, Jori Mørkve and Ouren as the final runners.
