Eventis Canary Wharf Squash Classic 2017

The Eventis Canary Wharf Squash Classic 2017 took place from 6 to 10 March 2017 in London's Canary Wharf in the UK instead. The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2016/17 and belonged to the PSA 70 category .

Last year's winner was Mathieu Castagnet , who was eliminated in the quarter-finals against the future finalist Fares Dessouki . Dessouki met the top seeded Nick Matthew in the final , who won the game 11: 9, 11: 7, 10:12 and 11: 8. This was Matthew's sixth title win at the tournament.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. Per Wildcard received Lyell Fuller a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 70,000.
