Canary Wharf Squash Classic 2016

The Canary Wharf Squash Classic 2016 took place from March 7th to 11th, 2016 at Canary Wharf, London in the UK . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2015/16 and belonged to the International 70 category .

Last year's winner was Nick Matthew , who did not participate again. In the final, Mathieu Castagnet defeated the top seeded Omar Mosaad with 6:11, 11: 7, 11: 8 and 11: 5. With this Castagnet won his third and at the same time biggest title on the PSA World Tour .

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. Per Wildcard got Ben Coleman a starting spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

In the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points are paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 70,000.
