Everyday Is Christmas is the eighth studio album and the first Christmas album by Australian pop - singer Sia . It was released on November 17, 2017 under the labels Atlantic and Monkey Puzzle. The song Santa's Coming for Us was released as a single on October 30, 2017.
background
Sia confirmed the release of their first Christmas album on August 1st, 2017. The album was released under Sia's own label Monkey Puzzle, as well as on the label Atlantic Records. It is their first release with Atlantic and features original songs written by Sia and Greg Kurstin . Kurstin, who had already worked with Sia on her studio albums We Are Born (2010), 1000 Forms of Fear (2014) and This Is Acting (2016), produced all of the songs on the album. Maddie Ziegler , with whom Sia has been working on her music videos since 2014, can be seen on the cover. The recordings for the album took place in May 2017 and lasted over two weeks. They made Sia and Kurstin "laugh at the end of every day".

The standard version of the album contains ten songs and was released on November 17, 2017. A Japanese version of the album, which was released under the Warner Music Japan label, contains, in addition to the 10 songs that have already been released, a bonus track called My Old Santa Claus .
A year after the first release, a deluxe version of the album was released, which was released worldwide. It contains the previously released song My Old Santa Claus , the cover song Round and Round , and the previously unreleased song Sing for My Life .

The song Santa's Coming for Us was released on October 30, 2017 as the first and so far only single . At the same time you could pre-order the album. A music video for the song was released on November 22, 2017. In this you can see Kristen Bell holding a Christmas party. The song made it to number nine on Billboard's Holiday Digital Song Sales Charts, number 1 in the Adult Contemporary Charts and number 51 in the Holiday Top 100. The song also made it to number 39 in the UK singles chart and number 70 in the Scottish charts.
Snowman was released as a promotional single on November 9, 2017, and made it to number three on the Holiday Digital Song Sales Charts. The songs Candy Cane Lane and Everyday Is Christmas also reached these charts. Sia sang Snowman with Maddie Ziegler on The Voice . Sia was also seen on The Ellen DeGeneres Show .
