Fürteben is a cadastral municipality of the Scheibbs municipality in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 118 building areas with 42,481 m² and 55 gardens on 98,422 m² in the cadastral municipality of Fürteben , in 1989/1990 there were 139 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 255 and in 2009/2010 there were 167 buildings on 278 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 462 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 661 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 407 hectares and 716 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 379 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 722 hectares. The average soil climate in Fürteben is 17.6 (as of 2010).
