Ginning is a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Scheibbs in the district of Scheibbs in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 45 building areas with 17,913 m² and 22 gardens on 43,461 m² in the cadastral community of Ginning , in 1989/1990 there were 57 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 112 and in 2009/2010 there were 75 buildings on 129 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. At the turn of the year 1979/1980 297 hectares were used for agriculture and 363 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 259 hectares and 401 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 239 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 409 hectares. The average soil climate number of Ginning is 18 (as of 2010).
