FDA Records (until 2016 FDA Rekotz ) is a German metal and punk label that was founded in 2006.
history
The label was founded by Rico Unglaube in December 2006 to be part of the metal scene and to support artists, although he had been interested in metal since his youth around 1990. He started the label in a three square meter room where he burned and printed CD-Rs in a do-it-yourself way. Booklets and inlay cards he replicated in a copy shop , they cut out and put them together again. From this the indie label FDA Rekotz slowly developed , whereby Unbelief is now supported by two employees. In a large part of Europe , the physical sound carriers are sold by Soulfood , only in Great Britain this is done by Code 7 Distribution . Global sales are handled by Plastic Head Distribution . The download offer is managed by Soulfood. In 2017 the label was renamed to FDA Records .
