The FC Lourdes (official name: Football club Lourdais Hautes-Pyrénées ) is a rugby union -Verein from the French town of Lourdes in the Hautes-Pyrenees . He plays in the third highest French league Fédérale 1 . The home games are played at the Stade Antoine-Beguere.
The club was founded in 1911. Despite its name, it never had a football department. From the mid-1940s to the late 1960s, Lourdes FC dominated the French championship. During this time he became a master eight times. He has also won the prestigious Yves du Manoir Challenge six times .

- ↑ Because of the May riots , the final had to be postponed by three weeks. At the end of regular time it was 6: 6, after extra time 9: 9. Lourdes FC were declared champions because they had two attempts and Toulon none at all; in addition, it was no longer possible to schedule a third final so late as the French national team was about to leave for a tour of New Zealand and South Africa.
