FIFA Champions Badge

The FIFA Champions Badge is a badge of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA, German: Internationaler Verband des Association Football ) for the winners of a football World Cup . The badge may be worn for four years after winning the World Cup. The badge was introduced for men in September 2008 and for women in April 2009.

The badge shows the trophy and is complemented by the words “FIFA World Champions”. A second badge shows the name of the winning country and the year of the victory.

Similar badges

The FIFA Club World Cup Champion Badge was introduced at club level in 2008 . A similar crest was established for the Futsal World Cup in 2012 .

The winning team of the club or national team may wear the badge until the final whistle of the subsequent competition.
