The FIS Ladies Tour was a series of competitions for women in ski jumping that had been held in summer since the 2001/02 season. The tour took place from 2005 to 2006 as part of the summer competitions of the Continental Cup .

history

After the FIS Ladies Grand Prix had been established as a competition series for women in winter since 1999 , some of the organizing ski associations decided to launch a counterpart in summer ski jumping. These were previously only rated as independent competitions and were not part of a series. In the summer of 2001 the first FIS Ladies Tour took place with the venues Velenje , Mislinja and Meinerzhagen . In the following year, the two venues in Slovenia were replaced by Pöhla and Breitenberg . A year later, Breitenberg also fell away, with Bischofshofen and Klingenthal added instead. With the introduction of the Ladies Continental Cup for the 2004/2005 season, the Ladies Tour was initially held in 2004 parallel to it and, from 2005, it was held as a competition within this series. The last time the Ladies Tour was held in 2006.

The term Ladies Tournee is used by some organizers of the Ladies Continental Cup to promote jumping in this series.
