The FK Temnić 1924 (officially on Serbian : Фудбалски клуб Темнић 1924 - ФК Темнић 1924 Fudbalski klub Temnić 1924 - FK Temnić 1924 ), usually Temnić 1924 , is a Serbian football club from Varvarin . The club was founded in 1924 and has been playing in the Prva liga , the second highest division in Serbian football , since 2017 .
history
The club was founded in 1924 by Rajko Urošević under the name FK Jovan Kursula . They ran under this name until the Second World War . After the end of the war, the club was reorganized under the name FK Mirko Tomić . Five years later, the club was renamed its current name FK Temnić in 1924 . In the 2016/17 season, the club achieved the greatest success in the club's history when they were first in the Srpska Liga East and thus for the first time promoted to the Prva liga .
