Fabian Gramling (born April 5, 1987 in Stuttgart ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and has been a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg since 2016 .

education and profession

After finishing secondary school at the Maximilian-Lutz-Realschule in Besigheim , Fabian Gramling completed an apprenticeship as a banker at the Kreissparkasse Ludwigsburg from 2004 to 2007 . After completing his vocational training, he worked for six months in customer service before he obtained the general university entrance qualification from 2007 to 2009 via the second educational path at the business school in Stuttgart. At the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart, Gramling studied business administration with a focus on accounting and controlling in cooperation with the auditing company PricewaterhouseCoopers AG from 2009 to 2012 . After completing his bachelor's degree, he began working as an auditor in the auditing department at PricewaterhouseCoopers. As a part-time job, Gramling studied the Master of Arts course with a focus on taxation, accounting and business law at Pforzheim University from 2012 to 2015 .

Political activity

In the state elections in 2016 , Fabian Gramling gained 25.7% of the votes for the CDU in the state electoral district of Bietigheim-Bissingen and entered the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg via the second mandate . He is the labor market policy spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group and represents the parliamentary group in the committees for economy, labor and housing as well as Europe and international affairs. He is also a member of the administrative board of the Württembergische Staatstheater Stuttgart , the supervisory board of Leichtbau BW GmbH and the board of trustees of the Staatliche Toto-Lotto GmbH Baden-Württemberg. Fabian Gramling was a member of the 16th Federal Assembly for the election of the Federal President as a delegate sent by the Baden-Württemberg State Parliament .

Since 2013, Gramling has been a member of the CDU district executive in the Ludwigsburg district . In addition, he was a member of the state board from 2011 to 2017 and from 2015 deputy state chairman of the Junge Union Baden-Württemberg. From 2011 to 2012 he was district chairman of the Junge Union in the Ludwigsburg district. At the 71st state party conference of the CDU Baden-Württemberg on September 9, 2017, he was elected to the state executive committee of his party. There he is chairman of the commission for digitization , innovation and start-ups .

Private

Gramling is Catholic and single.

In his youth he played football at his home club SpVgg Besigheim and later at FV Löchgau until he suffered a serious foot injury . In 2002/2003 he was honored by the community of Löchgau for outstanding sporting achievements .

At the age of 15 he won the Stuttgart Region Promotion Prize for his voluntary work in his home town of Besigheim .
