Fabian Schnyder (born December 30, 1985 in Schüpfheim ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player who had his entire professional career under contract with EV Zug in the National League A.

Career

At the age of four, Schnyder began playing ice hockey in Küssnacht am Rigi at the local Küssnacht ice skating club. Due to his talent, he received a contract offer from HC Lucerne at an early stage , to which he then switched. Later, the Swiss first division club EV Zug took him under contract. There he was trained like an apprentice and after completing his training received the title of qualified professional athlete. In 2004 he played for Switzerland at the U-20 World Cup . After the 2019/20 season, Schnyder ended his career as a professional ice hockey player.
