Fabian Unger (* 1992 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

Career

Fabian Unger, who comes from a very active family, grew up in Gmunden in Upper Austria . In his youth he played soccer , handball and athletics . Already in elementary school he played in the school theater.

His acting activities began with participation in advertising films and commercials, u. a. for Bank Austria , Austrian Airlines , Kika Leiner and Mediamarkt . In 2016 he appeared at the Junge Volkstheater Wien in a production directed by Constance Cauers . Through various tasks as a special extra, he finally came to roles in film and television. The director Dominik Hartl cast Unger with the role of Andi in his teen slasher film The Last Party of Your Life (2018). In the Austrian TV series SOKO Kitzbühel (June 2019) Unger played alongside Michael Pascher and Armin Dallapiccola . In the 15th season of the Austrian crime series SOKO Donau (2019) he took on a leading role as the rebellious leader of a Viennese youth gang. In the summer of 2019 Unger stood in front of the camera for the TV production Last Kirtag , directed by Julian Pölsler .

Unger is also active as a musician with the fictional character “The Sad Gardener”.

Professional and private

From the age of 15, Unger attended the Salzkammergut tourism school in Bad Ischl , where he graduated in 2012 as a tourism clerk with a focus on marketing . In 2014–2015 he studied Business & Management at Middlesex University , where he did his Bachelor of Science (Bsc). He then worked as an organizer and organizer of sports events in the pole vault in Linz . From 2017 to 2019, he studied energy management at the Wiener Neustadt University of Applied Sciences .

Unger has been a midfielder for ASKÖ Ohlsdorf in the Austrian Football District League South since 2012 . He lives in Vienna .
