Fabrice Olinga Essono (born May 12, 1996 in Douala ) is a Cameroonian football player . The striker is under contract with Royal Excel Mouscron and is a senior international .

Career

societies

In 2011 Olinga moved from RCD Mallorca to the youth team of FC Málaga . There he moved to the professional squad in 2012 and made his first appearances in the Primera División . In his first appearance on August 18, 2012, at the age of 16, he scored the decisive goal in the 1-0 win over Celta Vigo , making him the youngest goalscorer in the Primera División.

In January 2014 Olinga moved to the Cypriot club Apollon Limassol , who loaned him to SV Zulte Waregem until the end of the season . For the Dutch club, he played seven games in the Eredivisie . After his return, he came for Limassol on December 1, 2014 in the 1-0 victory at Anorthosis Famagusta for his only appearance in the First Division .

In February 2015 Olinga moved to Sampdoria in the Italian Serie A . There he was loaned to FC Viitorul Constanța in Romania until the end of the season , for which he was not used. For the 2015/16 season he was awarded to the Belgian first division club Royal Excel Mouscron , for whom he was used seven times. Olinga was then firmly signed by Mouscron.

National team

Olinga made his debut on October 14, 2012 against Cape Verde in the Cameroonian national team . In this game he was substituted on in the 69th minute for Mohamadou Idrissou and scored in the 90th minute the goal to make it 2-1. On June 2, 2014 he was nominated by coach Volker Finke for the Cameroon squad at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil . He was the youngest player in a squad of World Cup participants, but did not appear in any of his team's three group games .
