Fabriciano Sigampa

Fabriciano Sigampa (born September 15, 1936 in Vichigasta ) is old archbishop of Resistencia .

Life

Fabriciano Sigampa was ordained a priest for the diocese of La Rioja on December 12, 1970 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Reconquista on June 22, 1984 . The bishop of La Rioja , Bernhard Heinrich Witte OMI , consecrated him on May 3 of the same year as bishop ; Co- consecrators were Cándido Genaro Rubiolo , Archbishop of Mendoza , and Alfredo Guillermo Disandro , Bishop of Villa María . The inauguration in the Diocese of Reconquista followed on May 19.

He was appointed Bishop of La Rioja on December 30, 1992, and was instituted on March 25 of the following year. He was named Archbishop of Resistencia on November 17, 2005, and was introduced to office on February 26 of the following year.

On February 21, 2013, Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
