The Diocese of Reconquista ( lat. : Dioecesis Reconquistensis , span. : Diócesis de Reconquista ) is in Argentina situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Reconquista .
history
The Diocese of Reconquista was founded on February 11, 1957 by Pope Pius XII. built with the Papal Bull Nobilis Argentinae Nationis Ecclesia from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe and subordinated to this as a suffragan diocese. On April 10, 1961, the Diocese of Reconquista gave up parts of its territory to establish the Diocese of Rafaela .
