The Falkenberg is 546.1 m above sea level. NHN high wooded mountain in the Odenwald and is mainly in the Ober-Sensbach district , the southern foothills in the Unter-Sensbach district of the town of Oberzent in the Odenwald district in Hesse .
The Falkenberg lies on the east side of the valley that the Sensbach dug into the Buntsandstein-Odenwald and in which the three districts of the former municipality of Sensbachtal lie, opposite the Sensbacher Höhe to the west. In the east, the slope of the Falkenberg slopes down to the Rindengrund , an uninhabited forest valley that flows into the Ittertal from the left and west near Friedrichsdorf . In the south, the mountain range to which it belongs extends to the Sensberg ( 480.1 m ), three and a half kilometers away .
