The Farsbach is a one kilometer long orographic left tributary of Odenbaches in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Kaiserslautern in the area of the municipality Otterbach Otter Mountain belong to local community Niederkirchen .

The Farsbach arises from two spring branches in the natural area of ​​the Lichtenberg ridge of the North Palatinate Uplands . The Farsbach now runs through arable land, accompanied by heavy vegetation of bushes and trees, and finally flows into the Odenbach coming from the south at a height of 241  m about a hundred meters south-southwest of the confluence of the coal ditch and almost three hundred meters north-northwest of the Bügenmühle .

The Farsbach has a catchment area of ​​0.777 km² and drains through the Odenbach , Glan , Nahe and Rhine into the North Sea . The height difference from its source to its mouth is 76.9 m, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of 64.1 ‰ over a length of 1.2 km.

The biotope Magerrasen-Hang north of Burgberg north of Niederkirchen, located on the upper reaches of the Farsbach, is worthy of protection and has the area number: BK-6412-0196-2009 and is around 0.78 hectares in size.
