Federico Andrés Mancuello (born March 26, 1989 in Reconquista ) is an Argentine football player . The left-footed player is used alternatively in the offensive midfield or on the left midfield.

Career

Mancuello received his football training at CA Independiente in Avellaneda . Here he made it to the professional squad in 2008. On December 14, he played his first game in the top Argentine division with the club . in the game against Arsenal de Sarandí , he came on in the 82nd minute for Hernán Fredes . He scored his first goal in the league on April 5, 2009. In the game against CA Lanús , he scored in the 22nd minute to equalize 1-1 (5-1 for Lanús).

With Independiente Mancuello made his debut at international club level. On August 27, 2010 he was substituted on in the Copa Sudamericana 2010 in the game against Argentinos Juniors in the 90th minute. In his second game in the competition on September 29, 2010, he was allowed to play from the start. Here he was substituted in the game against Defensor Sporting Clubin the 68th minute against Gómez . With these two bets he contributed to winning the competition.

For the 2011/12 season Mancuello was loaned to the CA Belgrano . In his 22 league and cup appearances, he scored once for the club. After his one year absence, he came back to Independiente and returned to regular assignments.

At the beginning of 2016, the player moved to Brazil to Flamengo Rio de Janeiro , where he won the Rio de Janeiro State Championship in 2017 .

In January 2018, he joined Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte and signed a two-year contract. The transfer fee was 1,500,000 euros. After only one year, but with two titles in hand ( Minas Gerais national championship and Copa do Brasil ), Mancuello left the club in early 2019. He signed a new contract with Deportivo Toluca in Mexico . From Mancuello's move from Flamengo to Cruzeiro , Cruz still owed FLA 300,000 reals. These were settled with the move from Giorgian De Arrascaeta to Flamengo, so the transfer proceeds from the move to Mexico went entirely to Cruzeiro.

National team

In the Argentina selection , Mancuello made his debut in a friendly against El Salvador on March 28, 2015. He came on in the 73rd minute for Di María and marked the goal of the 2-0 result in the 88th minute.
