Feilersdorf is a district of the municipality of Trabitz in the Upper Palatinate district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab ( Bavaria ).

location

The village is located about 2.5 km south of the core town of Trabitz on the open field of an eastern foothill of the Franconian Jura at an altitude of 476  m above sea level. NN . The Haidenaab valley runs northeast of the village .

history

The Bavarian original cadastre shows Feilersdorf in the 1810s as a cluster village with 10 hearths and a pond .

Until the regional reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, Feilersdorf was an independent municipality with the districts of Feilersdorf, Bärnwinkel , Feilershammer , Grub , Moos and Zintlhammer . On January 1, 1975, it was dissolved and largely incorporated into Preißach (renamed Trabitz in 1978). Moos came to the municipality of Grafenwoehr and Zintlhammer to Pressath .
