Felix Binder

Felix Binder (* 1977 in Tübingen ) is a German director and screenwriter .

Life

Felix Binder studied audiovisual media from 1998 to 2002 at the Stuttgart Media University , and from 2004 to 2006 directing in the film course at the Hamburg Media School . With Jacky in the Sky he shot his graduation film in 2006. In 2010 he took part in a ZDF sitcom workshop , and in 2013 he attended another workshop in Los Angeles with The Sitcom Room .

In addition to his work as a director, Binder also works as a screenwriter. He had great success in these two properties, especially with the much praised ZDF series Lerchenberg . His short films also found their way to numerous film festivals and received awards there too. As a producer, he was responsible for the film Heroes from the Neighborhood by director Jovan Arsenić , which was shown at the 2008 Berlinale as part of the Perspektive Deutsches Kino .

In 2019 he shot his first feature film with Club der Roten Ribbons - How It All Began .
