Ferdinand Koch

Ferdinand Heinrich August Koch (born September 29, 1832 in Grünenplan ; † August 21, 1904 in Brückfeld near Höxter ) was a hut owner and member of the Reichstag .

Koch was the owner of the Friedrich-Carls-Hütte ironworks near Delligsen in what was then the Duchy of Braunschweig . In addition, together with his brother Friedrich Koch, he owned the glassworks in Grünenplan , which was called Gebrüder Koch'sche Glasfabrik and which became Deutsche Spiegelglas AG in 1871 . In 1866 he was a member of the state assembly of the Duchy of Braunschweig.

In a replacement election on January 6, 1869, he was elected a member of the North German Reichstag and from 1871 to 1878 was a member of the German Reichstag for the National Liberal Party for the constituency of Braunschweig 3 ( Holzminden - Gandersheim ).
