Ferenc Barkóczy de Szala [ ˈfɛrɛnʦ ˈbɒrkoːʦi ] (born October 15, 1710 in Dobrensi , † June 18, 1765 in Pressburg , now Bratislava), Slovak František Barkóczy or František Barkóci , was Archbishop of Eger from 1744 to 1761 to 1765, and from 1761 to 1765 Archbishop of Gran .

Barkóczy was the third child of Ferenc Barkóczy († 1711) and Júlia Zichy de Zich et Vásonykeö († 1746). He was ordained a priest on April 14, 1733 . On January 2, 1741, he was named titular bishop of Tanagra by Pope Benedict XIV . Appointed Archbishop of Eger on May 10, 1745 and Archbishop of Gran on June 13, 1761 .
