Ferhat Cerci (born September 2, 1981 in Hamm ) is a German - Turkish soccer coach and former professional soccer player.
Career
Player career
In his youth, Cerci played for Hammer SpVg and moved up to the first team in 1999. In 2001, the striker in the LR Ahlen jersey made his professional debut in the 2nd Bundesliga on December 18, 2001 when he was substituted on in the 81st minute of the game. At the beginning of the 2003/04 season, Cerci moved to SV Lippstadt 08 . There Arminia Bielefeld became aware of him and signed the striker in the following season, where he played his only game in the Bundesliga , among other things . A season later he moved to Kickers Emden , but after two years the next move followed. This time he went to Turkey, to Kocaelispor , where he did not play a single game. Cerci returned to Germany and signed a contract with the relegation-threatened Stuttgarter Kickers in January 2008 . After he was able to hold the class with them, Cerci tried his luck again for two years in Turkey, this time with Eyüpspor and Tarsus İdman Yurdu , before returning to his home club.
Coaching career
In the summer of 2014, Cerci's career as a professional soccer player ended. He remained active for Hammer SpVg in various trainer functions until summer 2016. The following year and a half until the next coaching station he bridged as a player in the district league A, with the third team of Hammer SpVg.
During the winter break of the 2017/18 season, Cerci took over the coaching work at the regional league club IG Bönen , with whom he has been promoted twice and plays in the state league in the 2019/20 season .
