The Dicentra peregrina ( Dicentra peregrina ) is a plant from the genus of the heart flowers ( Dicentra ) in the family of Poppy Family (Papaveraceae).
features
The Far Eastern heart flower is a perennial , herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 8 to 20 centimeters. It forms a short pleiocorm - rhizome with many roots. The basal leaves have long stalks. The outline of the leaf blade is oblong-ovate. It is two to three pinnate, its end sections are densely packed, linear to needle-shaped and 0.7 to 2 millimeters wide.
The flowers are and measure 20 to 25 ×. Three to five (rarely up to 18) flowers are arranged in a single, racemose inflorescence . The flower stalk is 1.5 to 2 times as long as the flower itself. The zygomorphic , long heart-shaped flower has a length of 20 to 25 millimeters and a width of 8 to 12 millimeters. The outer petals are white to purple. Their tips are 12 millimeters long and almost circularly bent back. The spur is short.
The flowering time is in June, rarely it extends into July.
It is a very variable species depending on the region.
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 16.
Occurrence
The Far Eastern heart flower occurs in the Far East on the Chukchi Peninsula , on Kamchatka , on Sakhalin and in Japan ( Hokkaido and Honshu ) on stony-sandy eruptions, rocks, river gravel and gravel ridges.
