The telecommunications tower of the Munich Oberpostdirektion is a telecommunications tower built in 1956 on Blutenburgstrasse in Munich's Neuhausen district . It is 101.6 meters high.

Until the construction of the Olympic Tower , this was the basic television network for ZDF and Bavarian television . He served occasionally also to the spread of the radio program of Mega Radio in the medium-wave band . For this purpose, a long-wire antenna was stretched from a radio relay platform along the tower.

This tower, which is not one of the type towers , is now owned by the legal successor Deutsche Telekom AG .
