15-year-old Tina Spangler becomes pregnant. Her boyfriend is leaving her, and her friends are also turning away from her. Her single mother Evie supports her when Tina ponders whether to abort the child, put it up for adoption, or raise it herself. The girl feels overwhelmed at first, but then she copes with the situation. Tina befriends the slightly older Laurie Walsh, who is in the same situation.
Reviews
TV Spielfilm magazine wrote that the film was "realistic by American standards". His topic is "not new, but at least staged with serious commitment".

The film was in Portland ( Oregon ) and Sherwood turned (Oregon). In order to represent the pregnancy as realistically as possible, an artificial body part made of fiberglass was made for Kirsten Dunst. The film was released direct to video in the UK.
