Filipka (German Philippsgrund , popularly called the Hemmrich ) is a district of the municipality Oldřichov v Hájích in the Czech Republic . It is located eleven kilometers north of the city center of Liberec in the Jizera Mountains and belongs to the Okres Liberec .

Filipka is located in the west of the Jizera Mountains between the ridges Hejnický hřbet and Oldřichovský hřbet in the narrow valley of the Oldřichovský potok ( Hemmricher Flössel ) below the Oldřichovské sedlo ( Hemmrich ). The Liberec – Zawidów railway runs through the village and crosses the Hemmrich in a tunnel north of Filipka. The Oldřichov v Hájích railway station is in Filipka . The Stržový vrch (704 m) and Kopřivník (598 m) rise to the north, the Poledník (864 m) to the east, the Vřesoviště (662 m) to the south and the Strmý vrch (698 m) and Špičák (724 m) to the west. To the north extend the bunker lines of the Czechoslovak Wall .

Neighboring towns are Zátiší, U Dvora and Raspenava in the north, Lužec and Ferdinandov in the north-east, Na Pilách and Betlém in the south, Oldřichov v Hájích in the south-west, Filipov and Albrechtice u Frýdlantu in the west and Dětřichov in the north-west.

history

Philippsgrund was created in the 18th century in the valley below the Hemmrich. The village belonging to Friedland was named after Philipp Josef von Gallas, the last Count of Gallas .

After the abolition of patrimonial , Philippsgrund formed a part of the municipality of Buschullersdorf in the Friedland district from 1850 . In 1875 the construction of the railway from Reichenberg to Seidenberg was completed and the Buschullersdorf railway station was built in Philippsgrund . In 1920 the village was reclassified to the Reichenberg district . After the Munich Agreement , Philippsgrund was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Reichenberg district until 1945 . After the Second World War, the expulsion of the German population began. After the dissolution of the Okres Liberec-okolí, the place was assigned to the Okres Liberec in 1961. In 1980 it was incorporated into Mníšek and since 1990 Filipka has belonged again to the Oldřichov v Hájích community . In 1991 the place had 42 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 36 houses in which 50 people lived.
