Fines herbes

Fines herbes ( French for “fine herbs”) are a classic French herbal mixture made from freshly chopped chives , chervil , parsley and tarragon . Sometimes other herbs such as Bibernelle , basil , marjoram , thyme or rosemary are added.

The fines herbes are used to prepare meat and fish , salads and omelets , as well as soups , sauces and cream cheese and can be supplemented with onion cubes , shallots , mushrooms , fennel , celery or truffles .

The herbal mixture is also available dried in stores.
