Firat Tuncer (born February 25, 1995 in Cologne ) is a Turkish - German football player .

Career

Tuncer began his career at 1. FC Köln . After initially playing for the B and A juniors, he made his debut for Cologne's second team in the Regionalliga in August 2013 when he played against Alemannia Aachen in the 68th minute on the fourth match day of the 2013/14 season Steffen Schäfer was substituted on. In the course of the season he completed three more games for Cologne II. In the following two seasons Tuncer was a regular for Cologne. After the 2015/16 season he left the club.

After being out of a club for half a year, Tuncer moved to the Austrian second division club SC Austria Lustenau in January 2017 , with whom he received a contract valid until June 2018. He made his second division debut in February 2017 when he started against Floridsdorfer AC on matchday 21 of the 2016/17 season .

He returned to Germany for the 2019/20 season and moved to the regional division SC Fortuna Köln .

National team

Tuncer made his debut against the Netherlands in November 2012 for the Turkish U-18 selection . Subsequently, he completed six more games for the Turkish U-18 national team until March 2013.
