Suheyel Najar (born October 13, 1995 in Cologne ) is a German - Tunisian soccer player . He is under contract with the regional division SC Fortuna Köln .

Career

Suheyel Najar switched from SSV Ostheim 1931 eV to SSV Vingst 05 as a youth . After his youth he made the jump from the district league B to the Middle Rhine league . He moved to FC Bergheim 2000 , Lukas Podolski's home club . In the Middle Rhine League he played for the clubs Blau-Weiß Friesdorf , SV Bergisch Gladbach 09 and FC Hennef 05 from 2015 to 2018 . For the 2018/19 season, Najar moved to the Regionalliga West for TV Herkenrath and, in the subsequent winter break, to the league competitor Bonner SC .

In June 2019, Najar was able to convince the 3rd league promoted FC Viktoria Köln in a trial training and received his first professional contract.

On the first day of the 3rd league season 2019/20 , Najar was used against Hansa Rostock in front of 15,581 spectators and thus made his debut in a professional league.

At the end of January 2020, Najar moved to city rivals SC Fortuna Köln in the Regionalliga West .
