Florian Hölzl (born July 12, 1985 in Landshut ) is a German lawyer and politician . He has been mayor of the Pfeffenhausen community since May 2020 .

Life

Hölzl laid in 2005 at Marist Gymnaisum in Furth near Landshut the High School , and then studied until 2011 jurisprudence at the University of Regensburg . After the first state examination in law in 2011, he worked as a trainee lawyer at the Landshut district court and passed the second state examination in 2013. After a six- lawyer in Regensburg he was from November 2013 Governing Council at District Office Straubing-Bogen used.

He joined the Junge Union (JU) in 1999 and the CSU two years later. From 2005 to 2011 he was a member of the state board of the JU Bavaria and held various party offices at local and district level. In the local elections in Bavaria in 2008 , he was elected to the market council of Pfeffenhausen and the district council of the Landshut district and was confirmed in 2014. In 2020 he was elected mayor.

Parliament

In 2013, Hölzl applied as a candidate on the Lower Bavarian list for a state parliament mandate and narrowly failed. On November 1, 2016, he succeeded Martin Neumayer , who took up office as district administrator of the Kelheim district on the same day . Hölzl belonged to the committees for questions of the public service as well as for labor and social affairs, youth, family and integration.

In the list of the direct candidate of the CSU of the Landshut constituency for the state elections in 2018, he was defeated within the party to Helmut Radlmeier . As he was also not on the CSU constituency list, Hölzl left the state parliament after the state elections.

Florian Hölzl is married and lives in Pfeffenhausen.
