Del Bajío International Airport ( Spanish : Aeropuerto Internacional de Guanajuato ; Eng .: Guanajuato International Airport ) is an international airport in the city of Silao in the state of Guanajuato near León in Mexico . There is domestic and international air traffic. This airport is an important connecting airport for many flights from Mexico City to the USA . It is planned to build a cargo terminal and a second runway.
