The Zadar Airport ( kroat. : Zračna luka Zadar , English also. Zadar Airport ) is the international airport of Zadar in Croatia .

Next to the terminal there is a parking lot with 425 parking spaces and a parking space for rental cars.

Location and transport links

The airport is located 7 km east of the city center of Zadar, near the town of Zemunik Donji .

The airport can be reached by car via the A1 motorway .

There is also a shuttle bus between the port in the city center, the bus station and Zadar airport. After a scheduled flight arrives at the airport, the transfer bus drives to the bus station and the port immediately afterwards. The departure times from the port (old bus station) and main bus station to the airport are based on the departure times of the scheduled flights.

Airlines and Destinations

Croatia Airlines operates the route Zadar - Zagreb and Pula daily; Seasonally there are flights of Croatia Airlines from Munich and Frankfurt in German-speaking countries. There are also connecting flights via Zagreb to Germany , Switzerland and Austria . Eurowings flies seasonally to Berlin , Cologne-Bonn , Stuttgart , Zurich and Lufthansa to Munich , Düsseldorf and Berlin-Tegel, and Skywork Airlines to Bern . In the summer flight schedule, Ryanair serves Berlin-Schönefeld , Hahn , Weeze , Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden and Memmingen .

Since April 2013, Zadar Airport has been a Ryanair base with a Boeing 737-800 stationed there. Ryanair currently serves 16 European destinations in Germany, Ireland, Great Britain, France, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden and Norway from Zadar.
