Flula Borg (* 1982 in Erlangen ) is a German web video producer , actor and DJ living in the United States .
Live and act
A native of Germany artist lives in the district of Los Feliz in Los Angeles , California . He studied the trumpet for 15 years . Since February 2007 he has been producing speech and music parodying videos for the net with a mix of DJ , entertainer , actor and one-man orchestra . From February 13, 2007 to December 31, 2015, his YouTube channel had over 740,000 subscribers; it had been viewed more than 80 million times by then. He has over 90,000 followers on Twitter (as of June 2018). As part of his video series “Auto-Tunes”, Flula Borg often sits in the car with prominent / non-prominent guests and sings improvising pop songs with them. In one of cheerleading pair of Dallas Mavericks controlled car he sang for. E.g. in a weird duet with Dirk Nowitzki the Stones song Satisfaction, which was viewed over a million times on YouTube by December 31, 2015 .
Since 2008 he has also appeared in film and television productions. He achieved greater fame in 2015 through his supporting role as Pieter Krämer in the musical comedy Pitch Perfect 2 . The American magazine The Hollywood Reporter named Borg one of the top 25 digital stars in 2015.
Borg has lived mainly in the USA since 2012.
In 2019 he landed a role in The Suicide Squad, which will be released in 2021 .
