The Forchbach , also known as Hagbach , is a right tributary of the Main near Karlstein in the Aschaffenburg district in Lower Franconia .

geography

course

It rises in the vineyards near Alzenau - Hörstein am Käfernberg. Its size is mainly due to its two largest tributaries, the Bachquellengraben and the Haggraben . In summer the Forchbach is as good as dried up. A small trickle from the creek source ditch feeds the dry stream bed with water. At the mouth of the Haggraben in Karlstein -Dettingen, it is more than twice the size of the Forchbach. It then flows into the Main near the Sankt Kilian Bridge .

The Forchbach has a total flow distance of 8.6 km via Rückersbach and Haggraben.
